About the author
I've spent most of my career inside organizations that were trying to change how they work. Oftentimes from the inside (Microsoft, Bridgewater, HSBC), many times as an advisor or interim leader (McKinsey, IDEO, WWE, XFL). My passion and the thread through all of it has been understanding how operations run and rebuilding them with a focus on devising and supporting strategy through a renewed operating model.
More recently I helped build Zelus Analytics, an AI sports intelligence platform, from early stage through its acquisition by Teamworks. I also founded a rare disease charity that has had to rely on AI to be lean and efficient in how we place our drug discovery bets. Those experiences shaped how I think about how AI can have an impact.
